Although this DVD has a link at Livenirvana.com or LN's guide to DVDs, Kurt's appearances on the DVD are limited to only 5 minutes and 34 seconds split between his guest appearance on electric guitar with Mudhoney for the Fang cover song, "The Money Will Roll Right In"....at 3:05, and a solo acoustic performace of the Lead Belly cover song, "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" at 2:29. Kurt's solo acoustic performance....a rendition of the traditional folk song that he attributes to a slave in the south, Leadbelly...Prior to playing the song, Kurt says, ""This is a song written by Huddie Leadbetter, he was a slave of the south, thank you"....you can overhear a spectator that's close to the taper saying something to the effect, "oh, man, come on...give me a break." Kurt gives a very inspiring, powerful performance of the song, though, and in so doing won over the Mudhoney crowd. Kurt's solo acoustic, "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" has a running time of only 2 minutes and 29 seconds, but there's no band to back him...it's just Kurt and his acoustic guitar...and he delivers a unique, unparalleled performance.

Mudhoney setlist features songs from their early days with Sub Pop records. songs from their debut self-titled "Mudhoney" studio album in 1989...to their 2nd and final album with Sub Pop "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge" in 1991...some live songs at Castaic Lake also appear on their 3rd studio album titled "Piece of Cake" with Reprise Records, recorded and released earlier in 1992.
